It is the mission of the Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce to provide opportunities to improve the Robbinsdale business climate through networking, community involvement, business promotion, business education, improved communications and as a partner with the city in community revitalization efforts.
Jill Steinhauser - Chamber Board President
TSG - Operations Director
I would like to see the Chamber be a bigger part of our business community by drawing people to Robbinsdale and helping the businesses know one another better. This small knit community has been based on relationships in the past, and I hope will continue to grow stronger if we focus on those basics.
Amanda Carlyle - Chamber Board VP
CFO/General Manager Wicked Wort Brewing Company
My ultimate goal as a Chamber Board Member is to encourage as much open communication and collaboration between businesses within the community as possible. Our City continues to evolve and successful businesses are constantly in the spotlight but I don’t want to lose the open conversation that has made us who we are today. I cherish the relationships I have built with fellow businesses owners in Robbinsdale; by supporting one another and always looking out for what will best suit the community is what keeps us unique.
Dave Kiser - Chamber Secretary
CCX Media - Assistant Executive Director
Favorite part of working with businesses – It gives me great joy to help businesses and organizations share their messages that will help them to become more impactful and successful in our community. Each business and organization has a unique story to tell and by sharing that story with the community bonds are created that will last for years and serve to strengthen all involved.
Mark Morris - Chamber Treasurer
Citizens Independent Bank - VP/Office Manager
A favorite part about working with other businesses in the community is seeing the friends I’ve already known for years and forming long lasting personal friendships and business relationships with new people. Being a part of all of the Robbinsdale events is extremely rewarding and working closely and having fun doing so with the other volunteers.
Marcia Glick - Chamber Board City Representative
City of Robbinsdale - City Manager
Being the City Representative of the Chamber of Commerce Board is an opportunity to have deeper connections with local business owners. Knowing about business concerns and plans helps the city to proactively work with businesses in navigating city regulations and making sure city staff are aware of business concerns. The City-Chamber partnership in creating unique Robbinsdale events helps to promote our welcoming community.
Lindsay Daniels D.C - Chamber Board Member
Go Health Chiropractic - Chiropractor/Owner
My goal as a Chamber Board Member is to help create a sense of community between the residents of Robbinsdale and the businesses. I want to be able to help be a spokesperson for the businesses and professionals in the community and share this with the residents. I feel that it is important to help support the local businesses within our city and to make sure we give back to those who live here.
Charlotte Hoes - Chamber Board Member
Copperfield Hill Senior Housing - Community Liaison
As a part of the Chamber, I ultimately want to make sure that the greater Robbinsdale community knows what is out there! Our community is one that has a character and vibrancy that is unique. It is always a pleasure to introduce Robbinsdale to someone who might not know what is offered here. I also enjoy re-educating individuals who might have been away from the area and are surprised at what they can find in Birdtown. I believe that there is an overall collaborative effort among the businesses in Robbinsdale to promote and help one another. To be part of that effort, is rewarding.
Susan Nelson - Chamber Board Member
Citizens Independent Bank - Vice President Business Banking/SBA Specialist
As a Chamber Board Member my goal is to continue the Bank’s on-going support to the Chamber, and to align one of their core values to be Socially Responsible.
Collaborating with business owners in the community is how I share knowledge and resources to help businesses expand and grow. They remain a viable part of the community, employing people and improving the lives of everyone in the community.
Kyle Olson-Patterson - Chamber Board Member
Robbinsdale McDonald’s - Director of Operations
I would like Robbinsdale to become a destination area. A place where people can walk from restaurants to restaurant and have an enjoyable evening in the Downtown Robbinsdale area. Create a culture/atmosphere in which people talk about going to downtown Robbinsdale to spend there weekends/evenings.
George Selman - Chamber Board Member
Bark and Bathe, Inc. - Owner and President
One of my biggest goals I would like to get done while being on the Chamber Board is to have the Chamber start endorsing local political candidates. As a local business owner myself and a resident I get to vote on local decision makers. Most business owners don't live here. I feel this would give them a chance to be heard.
As a member of the Robbinsdale City Council I enjoy getting to know the local business owners by being a Chamber member. We are truly blessed to have such a hard working and dedicated group of local business owners. They are very dedicated and passionate about making Robbinsdale the best it can be. That is why we get better all the time.
Tina Suglia - Chamber Board Member
Nonna Rosa’s Ristorante Italiano - Co-owner/GM
I am honored to be voted onto the board of directors, it is a privilege to represent our business community at local events! My goal as a chamber board member is first to contribute my time and talents to continue a prosperous business climate for all, and also to maintain the small town charm of Robbinsdale. I love reaching out to others in our business community and getting to know my neighbors, city and business leaders through our chamber events.
Belinda Trombley - Chamber Board Member
Robbinsdale Area Schools Work Experience Program - Work Coordinator/Teacher
By being a member of the Chamber Board I want to help connect our community to Robbinsdale area schools. It’s wonderful to meet the people running businesses in our community. On a professional level it’s exciting to help students connect directly to employers in our community especially when positions directly correlate to reaching a specific career goal.
Francine Wilson - Chamber Board Member
Be Well Therapies - Owner/Massage Therapist
I have enjoyed being a Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce member for years since mid-1990’s when I first opened Bodywise Therapeutic Massage in Robbinsdale. I have been a Board Member over some of the years as well. I got involved so I could easily establish relations and rapport with the other Robbinsdale business owners so they would get to know me and establish confidence in the professional services provided by me and staff at my business. In turn, I have made great relationships and have been an active part of community building over the years by my involvement with the Chamber as well as the Whiz Bang Days Committee and Heart of Robbinsdale Community Foundation.
