Annual Robbinsdale Tree Lighting Brings the Community Together

On December 2, 2025, the Robbinsdale community gathered at City Hall for the Annual Tree Lighting, a festive tradition that marked the start of the holiday season. Despite the winter chill, residents of all ages came out to celebrate together.

The evening featured glowing lights, bundled-up families, and plenty of familiar faces, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The illuminated trees outside City Hall provided a beautiful backdrop and served as a reminder of the community spirit and pride that bring Robbinsdale together year after year.

We extend our sincere thanks to our partners who helped make this event possible, including Whiz Bang Days, the City of Robbinsdale, and the Robbinsdale Police Department. Their collaboration and support were instrumental in creating a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance.

A special thank you also goes out to the many who generously gave their time and energy, and to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. Events like this are only possible because of the people who show up, support one another, and invest in our community.

The Whiz Bang Days Robbinsdale Ambassadors added an extra touch of joy and celebration to the evening. Serving as welcoming faces of the community, the Ambassadors helped bring holiday spirit to the event and reflected the pride, tradition, and leadership that make Robbinsdale such a special place.

We were grateful to have Robbinsdale Mayor Sutton join the community for the event and share in this special moment.

A special highlight of the evening was a visit from Santa, who brought smiles, excitement, and holiday magic for children and families. From photo opportunities to joyful reactions, Santa’s presence added to the festive atmosphere and made the evening especially memorable for our youngest community members.
